Danielle Lemottee

Danielle is a trauma recovery coach and peer support specialist committed to fostering safe spaces and creating connection.

Growing up in the child welfare system left Danielle feeling disconnected from herself and the world; through her healing journey she became committed to helping trauma survivors connect within themselves to form healthy relationships with the world around them. Danielle is especially passionate about helping parents move through their trauma and ensuring they can have the best possible relationship with their children.

As a neurodivergent person, Danielle brings a different perspective to her focusing practice, having taught mindfulness to other neurodivergent individuals she understands how people with autism or ADHD can experience focusing differently and is committed to creating an inclusive practice for everyone.

In her spare time, she is a volunteer and advocate for survivors of childhood sexual abuse and former youth in care. Danielle is married and has two children, one bonus child, a dog, and two cats.

Her training includes peer support training, life coach certification, mindfulness coaching, and training to work with shame, and she is asist certified. She is also working towards a social work degree.

Danielle is available for 1:1 Focusing sessions on Tuesdays (9 am-2 pm), Thursday (11 am-2 pm) and Fridays (9 am- 1 pm), Eastern Time.
