Focusing session with a PUPA Trainee
Book a low-cost session with a PUPA Focusing Professional Trainee, also known as a Trainer-in-Training. There are 30, 45 and 60 minute sessions available. There are also a limited number of sessions available for first-time Focusers, eligible to those who have not Focused in partnership before. Please do not sign up for these if you have already had a Focusing experience with a partner, whether a professional, student-in-training or with a peer.
There is a waiver that must be signed in order to participate in this offering. This includes having your session video recorded for the possible sharing of a 10-minute segment with Coordinator-in-Training Annette Dubreuil, as well as other Trainees students, for learning purposes. Afterwards, your recording will be deleted.
Steps to participate:
Review the Trainee bios and availability (below on this page) and choose who you’d like to work with (please pay special attention to what days and times they are available, as our PUPA Trainees are all in different times zones)
Select your Trainee from the drop down, for the amount of time you’d like to have a session for. Fill out the waiver and pay for your session. (Select the Register button below)
Your chosen Trainee will contact you to book the exact day and time of your session.
Have your session on the agreed day and time with your Trainee.
Notes:
You can book multiple sessions with a Trainee. However, there is a limit of one “for first time Focusers” session per person.
Please book a session that is at least 45 minutes long for your first session. Feel free to book 30, 45 or 60 minute sessions as follow up sessions.
There are a limited number of sessions available each month. Please check back next month if there aren’t sessions available to meet your needs.
Sliding scale pricing is available. View a table of the session costs with the scale.

What People Are Saying
“Annette not only is skillful in guiding people through the focusing process, she has created a training program that enables others to do the same. I did sessions with Kevin and then with Mavra—both were excellent and I’m grateful to them for the care, wisdom and compassion they showed while focusing. Whether you are an experienced focuser or new to this, the opportunity to work with talented and compassionate people through this program is very powerful.”–Jonathan Walker MD, Clinical Assistant Professor, Indiana University School of Medicine
