The following individuals are training in the PUPA Focusing Certification Program to become Certified Focusing Professionals, also known as Trainers with The International Focusing Institute. So they are Trainers-in-Training. The PUPA Focusing Trainees co-teach courses with Coordinator Annette Dubreuil and offer Focusing sessions. View those who are now certified.
PUPA Focusing Trainee Priyanka Sharma is a facilitator and coach helping people to connect with themselves and others using Nonviolent Communication and Focusing.
PUPA Focusing Trainee Iren A Merdinyan is a Somatic Attachment Therapy Practitioner, Yoga Teacher and Cacao Guide.
Iren is generally available for 1:1 Focusing sessions on Tuesday, Thursdays and Saturdays, from 11 am to 4 pm Eastern European Time (EET), which is 4-9 am Eastern Time.
PUPA Focusing Trainee Niamh Harnett is a BACP therapist in training.
Niamh is generally available for 1:1 Focusing sessions between 7 pm to 1 am Eastern (1-7 pm Central European Summer Time), Monday through Friday.
PUPA Focusing Trainee Jane Cecilia practices contemplative coaching, writes essays and poetry, and considers herself a human-in-process.
Jane is generally available for 1:1 Focusing sessions between 10 am and 7 pm Eastern, Monday through Saturday.
PUPA Focusing Trainee Marcel McClain is a licensed clinical social worker.
Marcel is available for 1:1 Focusing sessions weekday evenings between 5-7 pm, Eastern time.
PUPA Focusing Trainee Vanessa Carrera is an artist, poet and writer.
Vanessa is available for 1:1 Focusing sessions on Wednesdays (9 am-12 pm), Thursdays (9 am-5 pm) and Sundays (9 am-5 pm), Eastern time.
Terry Bowling is a Focusing Trainee who knows that feelings are safe. He’s a harm reduction and sober coach, pulling from multiple modalities including twelve step for 37 years, as well as Dr. Ryce’s “Why is this Happening to me… Again!?!?” work.
Terry is available for 1:1 Focusing sessions Monday-Friday (8 am-4 pm) and Saturdays (9 am-3 pm), Eastern time. As well, he welcomes special requests for appointments at any other time.
PUPA Focusing Trainee Danielle Lemottee is a trauma recovery coach and peer support specialist committed to fostering safe spaces and creating connection.
Danielle is available for 1:1 Focusing sessions on Mondays (10 am-1 pm and 6-8 pm) and Wednesdays (10 am - 1pm), Eastern Time. As well, she welcomes special requests for appointments at any other time.
