Focusing on Spring Workshop

Join me for a 2-hour workshop where we will use Focusing to carry forward something in us that is wanting to grow this spring.

We will begin by identifying something in us that is wanting to sprout or grow. We will then get a felt sense of our something. A felt sense is how we carry an issue or project in the body, physically, emotionally, as well as the unique thoughts and memories that are related to our something.

In particular, we will explore multiple memories that are connected to this issue or project, getting their felt sense to flesh out how our something could move forward. We will then cross the memories to find the patterns and unique offerings each brings to the felt sense of our project.

As we stay with the felt sense, the body answers. We get new ideas of how to proceed and our perspective on the something can change significantly.

We will use body cards to record the felt sense of what our body would like to sprout this spring.

The workshop will include opportunities for small group sharing and reflecting, as well as sharing in the larger group.
